The is NOT effected by the size of the barrels. if you want it to go 90 degrees the other way, add 2 stacks of 3 to the top and 2 stacks of 2 atop of that. if you only want it to sit at "0 degrees" instead of being able to aim downward (say your ship has critical components just below the gun, don't add ANY blocks to the bottom half of the turret.
